Privacy Policy
Effective date · Articulated Offering LLC, a Virginia limited liability company
This policy describes what we collect, why, and what we do and don't do with it. It's written to be read. The short version: we collect what we need to make your assessment and nothing else, we never sell it, and this site sets no tracking cookies.
What we collect
Birth data
To produce an assessment we collect your date of birth, exact time of birth, and city of birth — and, for relational assessments, the same for the second person, with their consent. Birth data combined with a name can identify a person with unusual precision, and we treat it accordingly: it is used solely to construct your chart and write your assessment, it is never sold, shared for marketing, or used for any other purpose, and it is retained only as described below.
Contact and order information
Your name, email address, pronouns, and the information you provide on our intake forms, used to produce and deliver what you purchased and to correspond with you about it. Pronouns are treated with the same care as the rest: they can reveal gender identity, and they are used only to address you correctly in your assessment.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we receive confirmation of payment and standard transaction records. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Session content
If you book a held session, what you say in that session is covered by the Session Agreement. Recordings are made only with your explicit consent.
What we don't collect
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, uses no tracking pixels, and does not fingerprint your browser. There are no accounts and no passwords. Our hosting provider and embedded third-party services (Stripe, Cal.com, Tally) may collect standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure their services; those are governed by their policies.
How we use information
To produce and deliver the assessment or session you purchased; to communicate with you about your order; to comply with law; and, only if you separately opt in, to send occasional studio news. Every such email includes a working unsubscribe link, and declining has no effect on your order.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes. Birth data and delivered assessments are retained for 12 months after delivery so we can answer questions about your assessment and correct errors, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see "Your rights"), and we will honor it except where law requires retention.
Retention set at 12 months of inactivity, after which birth data is deleted; delivered assessments are retained only while the client relationship is live or on request (an assessment addressed to a named person cannot be meaningfully anonymized). Confirm as drafted. What we never do
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your assessment, or any part of it, in marketing without your separate, explicit, written permission.
When we may disclose
We may disclose personal information to service providers strictly as needed to deliver our services (payment processing, scheduling, form intake, email delivery); when required by law, subpoena, or court order; or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, records may transfer to the successor under this same policy.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us: what personal information we hold about you; to correct it; to delete it; or to receive a copy of it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty (30) days. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, these requests are honored as your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. If you are a Virginia resident, we honor equivalent requests consistent with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act.
Resolved: VCDPA thresholds confirmed inapplicable; voluntary-honoring phrasing retained (no public statement of non-subjectivity). Confirm as final.Children
Our services are for adults. We do not offer services to, or knowingly collect any information from, anyone under eighteen (18). If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including limiting who can access it and using reputable providers for payment, scheduling, and forms. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of security involving your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by Virginia’s data-breach notification law (Va. Code § 18.2-186.6) and any other law that applies to you.
Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add analytics to this site — we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
